The Prime Minister’s overhaul of the stage three tax cuts have failed to deliver a bump in support, according to the latest Newspoll.
Ahead of the crucial Dunkley by-election on Saturday, Labor’s primary vote has dropped one point to 33 per cent.
The Coalition’s primary vote remains unchanged at 36 per cent.
On a two-party preferred basis – Labor maintained its lead over the Coalition, 52 to 48.
As preferred Prime Minister – Anthony Albanese improved a point – leading 47 to 35.
